What we collect

Email, payment/provider references, public display content, destination URLs, ownership history, abuse reports, accepted consent wording and Terms, acceptance and completion timestamps, and aggregate redirect counts.

Why

To document your publication and activation agreement, confirm payments, calculate lifetime contribution to a word, send receipts and dethrone alerts, operate redirects, prevent abuse, and understand use of the service.

What stays private

Email addresses and payment identifiers are not included on word pages, public activity, rankings, social cards, or public frontend payloads.

Providers

Dodo Payments processes hosted checkout. The chosen production database is Supabase PostgreSQL; Google Cloud Run and Firebase Hosting serve the app. Spacemail provides support and transactional email.

Optional analytics

If configured, Google Analytics 4 is loaded only after you choose “Allow analytics”. It measures page views and broad actions such as searching, opening a word preview, starting checkout and completing a purchase. We omit search terms, emails, destination URLs and provider payment references from analytics events. Google may process your device, browser, approximate location and usage information under its own terms. Rejecting optional analytics does not affect the service. Use “Analytics settings” in the footer to change your choice; rejecting after acceptance stops future tracking and removes first-party Google Analytics cookies where the browser allows. The operator’s own payment and aggregate redirect counts remain necessary service records.

Retention and rights

Financial and ownership records are retained for audit, fraud, dispute, and legal needs. EU users may have access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection rights subject to applicable retention duties.
